Delaney Foster Legal Consulting was built on a simple premise: paperwork should serve the business, not the other way around.

Lorena founded Delaney Foster in 2016 after nearly a decade managing operations for regional healthcare and logistics companies. She kept watching business owners drown in contract stacks and quarterly filings — and kept thinking there had to be a calmer way.
Today she and a small team of paralegals and compliance specialists work with over 60 active clients across the Hampton Roads region, from waterfront restaurants to family-owned trades to Peninsula nonprofits.
Credentials: Certified Paralegal (NALA), member of the Virginia Chamber Small Business Council, BA in Business Administration from Christopher Newport University, and volunteer counsel for Peninsula Community Foundation since 2019.
If a client can't summarize a contract in their own words, we haven't done our job.
No billable-hour surprises. Every engagement starts with a written scope and price.
We answer emails inside one business day, and we call back the same day we're called.
When a matter needs a licensed attorney, we say so — and we refer to counsel we trust.
